Version December 2023
Tarbaca Indigo Foundation respects your privacy
The protection of your privacy when processing personal data and the security of all personal data are important to us. With this privacy policy, we inform you about what data we process from you, what we need this data for and how you can object to data processing.
We collect, process and store personal data (including IP addresses) only in accordance with the statutory provisions or if you have given us your consent to do so, for example as part of a registration process.
What personal data do we collect?
We only collect personal data in connection with our relationship with you. The data we collect includes, in particular, your contact details such as name, telephone number, address or e-mail address as well as other information, especially in connection with a funding application.
How do we collect personal data?
As a rule, we collect personal data in the following cases: When you submit a funding application to our foundation; when you communicate directly with us; or when you provide us with your personal data for other reasons. In all cases, we process your personal data exclusively for the specific purpose that is recognizable to you.
Do we pass on your personal data?
In principle, we only pass on your personal data to other third parties if we are legally entitled to do so or if you have given us your consent to do so. This is the case, for example, if we carry out external project evaluations in agreement with you. Further information on this can be found in the funding agreement. If data is disclosed abroad, we ensure that we comply with the relevant legal requirements (guarantee of adequate protection). If data is disclosed to a country without adequate protection in accordance with Art. 16 para. 1 FADP, we have ensured appropriate data protection through recognized standard contractual clauses in accordance with Art. 16 para. 2 lit. d FADP.
External service providers who process data on our behalf are strictly bound by contract in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection. We have ensured that the external service providers are able to guarantee data security. They may only transfer the processing of personal data to a third party with our prior consent.
How long do we store your personal data?
We generally store your data for as long as our business relationship with you requires it or we have a legitimate interest in continuing to store it. In all other cases, we delete your personal data with the exception of data that we must continue to store in order to fulfill legal obligations (e.g. we are obliged to store documents such as contracts and invoices for a period of 10 years due to legal retention periods).

We also have no information on the deletion of data by the plug-in providers.
