The ‘Earth Beats - The Changing Face Of Nature’ exhibition (9.10.2021–6.2.2022) sees the Kunsthaus Zürich contributing to the debate about climate change. Focusing on both past and present, with art from the 18th century to today, the exhibition explores how artists’ creativity has been sparked by the natural world and human interventions in it.

The exhibition combines works from the Kunsthaus Collection with loans centred around the four elements of earth, air, water and fire and is the first temporary exhibition presented in the Kunsthaus extension designed by David Chipperfield Architects Berlin and opened in October 2021.
