Conservation of Sharks with Misión Tiburón

Misión Tiburón Conservationist Association is a Costa Rican non profit organization. Its goal is promote the research, management and conservation of sharks and marine life in our oceans. Misión Tiburón was officially established in early 2009 by young marine biologists and conservationists, who are concerned about the drastic decline of shark populations around the world. Tarbaca Indigo Foundation supports Misión Tiburón's Hammerhead Shark Sanctuary Golfo Dulce, where the organization has identified a nursery ground for the critically endangered hammerhead shark, Sphyrna lewini.
